Join us at Farm and Flora Collective for the FIRST of our 2020 Local Flower Design and Creative Series Short Courses…..

“The Artful Poppy”

There are  SO MANY varieties of poppies in the world and Little State Flower Company grows TONS of them! Many people are often intimidated by this delicate flower and shy away from them in floral designs. Join Jill Rizzo from Studio Choo East and Anna Jane from Little State Flower Company at their collaborative garden center for the FIRST class in the Design Series.  Anna Jane will discuss the many varieties of poppies she loves to grow (both indoor and outdoor) and Jill will skillfully demonstrate how to design and work with these delicate beauties. Along with design and growing guidance, Vessels and flowers are included and Students will create their own floral design to take home!

Farm and Flora Collective is a horticultural collaborative group made up of three RI local, women owned businesses. Together they manage and run The Farm and Flora Collective….a local treasure garden center at the James L. Maher Center in Middletown RI. Their collaboration includes working with the James L. Maher Center,  the Department of Labor and Training and Rhode Island Nature and Landscape Association to provide job training to marginalized populations.
